Hello, Hello... I'm Still Here

It's been awhile, but I am still here. I have just given myself a little down time from sewing, working and going crazy in general. Last Saturday was my last Artisan sale. It went OK, not as good as a couple of weeks ago, but better than expected. Thank you for all the good wishes and kind comments. It was really nice receiving them. I am so glad I am finished running around doing those. They take alot of work and energy to do every week. Making sure you have enough stock, packing the car, unpacking the car, packing the car... well you get picture. Even though the shows are done, I still have orders to fill, but I needed to give myself this week away from the sewing machine and do some other things that needed to get done, like Christmas shopping. I was quite successful. Got the hardest people on my list completed and the idea came to me quite easily. I must say though, I am not really ready for this season. I can so totally relate to Beki and what she said here. It just seems that it always comes so fast. We are cutting down our tree on Sunday, but I could really care less, (isn't that awful) because after we cut it down then we and when I say "we", I mean "I" have to set it up and pull out all the decorations and lights and make a mess to decorate the tree. I tell ya, if I didn't have kids I wouldn't have a tree. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy when Christmas Eve is here and Christmas morning/day but it is all the work leading up to it. Oh and then I have a cookie party to go to next Friday. I don't like to bake and if I could I would go to the local bake shop and buy the cookies made and then show up with "my wonderful batch" hoping no one was the wiser, but I can't, it would just be wrong.....right?! Anyway, I needed this week to relax a bit. From Sunday to Wednesday I have been feeling so tired. I guess from being so busy and running on adrenaline, that once it was over my body crashed. Today, I am feeling more myself, and not so tired, which is a good thing because I am going to have to get back at it and re-aquaint myself with the sewing machine to not only get those orders done, but to get some Christmas gifts completed to. Time waits for no one.

If you are looking for a new and simple craft to do for Christmas. These coasters are very easy to do.

P.S. Can someone tell me how to put a picture in the header. Thanks

the coasters are cute. i've been considering making some. some day.

i'm dreading the decorating for christmas, too. the boys keep asking why the tree isn't out ... AAAAAHHH! i don't want the added mess (or help of 10 extra hands).

i did a search on google for putting a pix in the banner a few months ago. i was working on it before i had the baby, but haven't been back to it yet.
