We went to our first, but annual Christmas party of the season. It was nice to get dressed up, put on a little sparkle and go out. We had a really nice time and just what the season called for to get into the Christmas spirit.
Sunday we went and chopped down our Christmas tree. It took awhile to find just the right one, but in the end we found the perfect one. It is standing in our front foyer waiting to be dressed. When that is going to happen is anyones guess.
I am back at it in the sewing studio this week trying to finish off orders that have been hovering over my head and trying to get cleaned up before Christmas. Hopefully, I can keep up with the whirlwind of the season. We got a little bit of our first snow fall this morning and a promise for more to come. I can't wait to get these orders and Christmas gifts done. I was at the suppliers yesterday and can't wait to get into working on my new projects for spring and summer. The fabrics coming in are FAB-u-LOUS.... yes, you heard me right. Always working and thinking ahead.
I have a cookie party to prepare for, so it looks like I will be baking Friday....oh joy, bliss! My favourite thing to do. NOT!
Well, I better get back at it.
