Lots of Sewing Done

I have been getting back into the swing of things since school has been back in session. My sewing machine has been working overtime. I finally got one of the 3 diaper bags finished. It includes a change mat and zippered pouch. I am quite pleased with how they turned out and can't wait to get working on the other two styles. One only being a larger version of this one and the other completely different with a flap. I also worked on this monogrammed blanket. I love this cotton fabric. It feels so good to the touch and the micro-chenille mauve on the opposite side is absolutely buttery soft. I want to at least make another one of these, but in a more boyish pattern. Since it is monogrammed I would rather make them on an order basis. I don't want to have all these initials sitting around. I have also been working on a patchwork purse. I just absolutely love working on these. They are so much fun and creative. Putting the fabrics together and making them work. I don't have a picture of it yet, but as soon as I can, I will post it. I can't wait to start on another one and I want to try and make a patchwork apron too. There are a few things that I want to make for birthdays coming up, so my mind is going a mile a minute. Actually, I wish I could make them as fast as I think of them.
