Weather Man ... Really?!!

It's a snow day here today.  The kids were excited since yesterday, as the weather forecaster has been talking non-stop about how bad it was going to be.  Which I just roll my eyes at because everytime they put out a weather watch it is never as bad as they say and sure enough morning came and it wasn't that bad at all.  We are in the north people... face it we get snow!  Even though i wish i wish i wish we didn't.  (I dream of palm trees this time of year). 

Anyway, they closed the schools and cancelled the buses.  Which made their day!

It is a Cold and Snowy Day!

Well, the weatherman was right.... he said we were going to get a bad snow storm today. It is really awful out there. Strong winds, lots of snow. We are suppose to get about six inches and later it is suppose to turn into freezing rain pellets. Lovely! This just puts me into my hibernation mode that much more. We can thank Texas for it all...that's were the weatherman said it was all coming from. Thank you Texas! :)

At least two people are happy about this weather. Sweetpea and Sunshine get a snow day out of it, so they are home today hibernating with me too. They actually lucked out this week because Wednesday they had a day off too. Aaaahhhh to be a kid again!

What a Combination!

I am loving this combination. Hana/Kohana Cocoa 3pc Diaper Set, just completed. Couldn't you just see yourself walking around town carrying this stylish Bag? I don't think people would even realize it is a diaper bag ...it is so stylish!

It is hot and humid here yesterday and today and it is suppose to be a great weekend, but with some showers. Makes me glad my studio is in the basement. We haven't turned the air on yet, so upstairs is a little warm. If this summer weather keeps up we are going to have to turn it on. It's so hard to sleep in this kind of weather... and really why suffer when you don't have to.
