Hola!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! I know I did. This year was extremely exciting. We surprised the girls with a trip south. They had a treasure hunt Christmas morning and ended up finding the tickets in an old suitcase. They were stunned and shocked and it took them awhile to absorb it all in, that we were really going away.

We were among the palm trees and sandy beach for New Years. (I didn't miss the snow or cold one bit! ...imagine that?!) It was a much needed vacation for all. It really is amazing how one week away from the everyday goings-on can make you relax and enjoy and bri
ng the stress level w-a-y down. The fact that I didn't have to worry everyday of what I was going to make for dinner or lunch was a vacation in itself. We all thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

It is truly the best way to end one year and ring in the new. I would recommend it to anyone!

So this year... what does it behold? Not quite sure. January always makes me feel fresh and renewed... like a chance to start all over. We have a lot of personal projects in the works. I have a new perspective on work and our trip has made me realize that we need to slow down just a bit and enjoy more. So I am trying to keep that feeling alive as much as possible.

I hope to be showing you a lot more projects that are in the works and a lot more listings on Etsy. I am always finding it hard to keep up with all that - posting here, posting on etsy, daily stuff, work, taking pictures. You all make it look so easy. How do you all do it? That's always my question.

Who doesn't love palm trees... you gotta love'em!
