Where Did the Weekend Go?

It was a beautiful, busy weekend. It just flew by. Saturday night we had a double 40th birthday party to go to. We saw a lot of people we hadn't seen in awhile, which was fun. Sunday we went apple picking with family and the kids all had so much fun - picking, eating, climbing, sliding and rolling around in hay.



Before we knew it it was Sunday night and we were all exhausted. I have lots of apples now to make apple crisp... oooh apple crisp and vanilla ice cream ....LOVE!Again, the calender is already filling up. Our weekends are booked for the next month. We have so many big projects on the go or trying to get going. Things have been changing around here (work wise) and it is busier than ever. There are just not enough hours in the day. Do you find that too? I am constantly racing around trying to get everything done. It doesn't help sitting here staring at the computer. I should be at my sewing table finishing a project that needs to be done by friday. I need to stay focused, but when you are one person and you have a million things that need to be looked after - how do you do that? My mind is constantly racing and trying to remember all the things that need to be done. As I stand at the work table I remember I have to send an email and then since I am at the computer of course I have to check out the sites I like to look at.. then the phone rings, then I remember I have to take something out for dinner. I finish all that and then think ... what was it I was doing? Yeah right, sewing!
