A little while back I had one of those moments. You know the one, when you are sitting working on something and a thought just comes to you.
Whenever I made clothing for my children's line I would always note the size of the garment on the hang tag. I was OK with doing this, but always thought that once the tag was taken off, there was no way of knowing or remembering the size of the garment. Not only that I was always getting a lot of "what size is this?" and would have to show them the size on the tag. Well, my Aha moment was finally put to use recently and I am very happy with the results. Not to mention that I always feel guilty that I never quite use my machine to it's full potential. That guilt has somewhat subsided.
I simply took a piece of white ribbon long enough to fold in half. Put some stabilizer behind it and used my embroidery number on my machine and sew it in. Now, when you look inside you will instantly know what size the garment is.... Voila!
