I was trying to do a photo collage - I don't think it turned out so great and the lighting was not so good either, to say the least.
Anyway, I am just rolling along here. I went out yesterday and got all my shopping done! Ya-HOOOO!! Except for a few small things, that is. Today I got everything wrapped and under the tree. Another 2 check marks on my list. This is great! I have just been motoring along here.
This year, it is all about the tree. As you can see I have dressed up my mantel a bit with tree decorations. I especially like the green and copper glittery ones. I purchased them this year. They make me happy when I look at them. I also tried making the trees that Little Birds offered. They were so easy and fun to make. I plan to make more. I even got the little ones making them. I also want to give the beaded tree a go. I got the cone, just have to get the beads now. Each year I try to focus on one thing. Last year it was the snowman.
On top of the running around, I even got some sewing done. Artsy-Crafty Babe showed her crafty-ness awhile back and decorated a kitchen towel. I have wanted to do something like that for a while and she just gave me the push I needed. I have never used Heat'n Bond before and let me tell ya... I am having fun with that! You can bet I will be using it more and more.
I have also wanted to make these for awhile... a Pillowcase Dress. I will be giving it to a sweet little girl for Christmas. I can't wait to see it on her. These are so much fun and creative to make. So this is a sneak peek because these are definately going to be added to my spring line of childrens clothing.
I just have to say, that since I have found this wonderful craft blog world, I have learned so much, got great ideas so that I could broaden my inspiration and better myself with my sewing. You all are so generous to help, offer tips and kind words of encouragement and for that, I thank you!
I do hope all of you and your families have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year! I look forward to see and reading about all your new crafts and ideas in the new year!

Congratulations on getting your shopping done, I'm envious! I think your collage is very pretty. And that's the prettiest pillow case dress I've seen.
Now I feel really behind!
Love the pillowcase dress, they are one my favorite things to make. I had known how to make them when my girls were younger.
Happy Holidays!
Thank you both! Don't feel envious or behind. There is so much more I still have to do.... Tis the Season.
I'm jealous that your shopping is done!
I love your pillowcase dress! I have plans to make some of these for Ava this spring.
