Well, I haven't been doing a lot of sewing in the last few days, but I have been doing something else that I love to do. That is buy fabric. I guess you could call me a fabric-aholic. I l-o-v-e fabric and I have a ton of it. Whenever I need inspiration, I go to the fabric store and that gets me wanting to sew right away. I see all these wonderful prints and textures and I am in heaven! What's even better is when I find fabric at a great price. The childrens print below - I think is wonderful. It is a vintage print from Japan. I am not sure what I am going to do with it yet. Maybe put it in my line of Monogrammed Blankets with chenille on the backside, also thinking crib set. Wouldn't that make a wonderful set? I was also thinking a child's 2pc jacket and pant outfit that I have been wanting to put together as a new outfit to add to my childrens line of clothing. I don't have any definate plans for the bear fabric, maybe burp cloths, Monogrammed Blankets. I guess you will have to wait and see what I come up with. The navy cord with sparkles on it will be made into childrens skirts and pants to go a new hooded cape that I plan on making, hopefully soon. So much sewing, sew little time.
By the way, I gave my Mom her denim purse and she LOVED it and couldn't wait to use it!
Oh, and I see that I have had a few visitors the last few days, if you stop by, please say "HI" and thanks for stopping by.

cute fabric. i love to buy fabric, too, but can never find anything japanese or really vintage and cool.
(and your bag and tissue holder are cute.)
Hi!! Love the fabric but I'm like Lera, I never see anything unique in stores locally. I have to find it online.
Sorry I haven't commented more, for some reason I'm not getting your updates through bloglines even though I've subscribed to your feed. I don't know what's up with that but I'll try to fix it.
Now I need to catch up on posts I've missed.
I so lucked out on finding that Japanese fabric at the local store. It was at the back of the store buried under a pile of bolts. I don't think it is something they normally carry. I was surprised when I found it. Like everyone else, I usually only see the unique and cool fabric on other blog sites or online.
Thanks for stopping by and saying HI!
