It has been a very busy and productive week here for me. I have been sewing from dawn til dusk and then some. But then, that is all I have been doing. I have been chained to my sewing machine, with the exception of small breaks inbetween to read blogs and email and to do some computer work and to make dinner, a girls gotta eat, not mention the family. I feel good about what I have accomplished. It is everything that I wanted to do, so that I could put it in the show, except for a Monogrammed Blanket that just didn't make it into the group. I got 4 lined skirts, 2 cabbage swirl lined jackets, 3 stroller blankets and 1 Receiving Baby Set, which consists of receiving blanket, bib and burp cloth, all being tagged and priced.
I am always astounded by the amount of sewing Autum gets done. Her work is amazing and boy is she fast. Just yesterday morning she whipped up a little shopping skirt before getting the rest of her sewing done for the day....imagine?!! So Autum, here is a friendly challenge. See if you can beat that list above in one week. I am sure you have already left me in the dust!
Sorry this is short, but as you know, I have a two day show this weekend, so I must get organized for it. Have a good weekend and I will let you know how the show went. Hopefully, better than last week.
Oh! One quick side note. I love how the cabbage swirl jackets turn out, but hate the production of them. I guess you could call it a love/hate relationship. If you thought the minky dot chenille was bad....let me tell ya, you ain't see nothin yet. The cabbage swirl is 1000 times worse. It gets all over, up your nose, in your mouth and forget it if you get it in your eyes and don't even bother wearing anything nice. You will be covered! Don't believe me, just look....
If you are wondering what's in my side pocket, it is my sissors.

Those jackets are CUTE!! Here's a trick I use. When I'm sewing minky, or something similar, I put a piece of Glad Press and Seal along the edge, and then tear it off after I'm done sewing. It really helps.
Good Luck with your show this weekend!!
Oh you have me sooo beat. My litte stuff has been easy sewing, no jackets and fancy skirts. Good luck with your show. Everything looks amazing.
ha ha ha -- I *was* wondering what was in your pocket!
