It's Beginning to Look a Bit Like Christmas

This time of year is very busy for me. Last year I booked myself into every craft sale available and ended up being so busy I didn't know which end was up and I was barely able to keep my head above water with everything to do. Luckily, I had most of my Christmas shopping done, otherwise I would have never made it. I told myself last year that I would not book myself up for every weekend this year. Well, it is not turning out that way. So far, I am booked til the end of November, not to mention (so far) one big order and a smaller order plus the birthday, Christmas gifts and general sewing for myself that I wanted to make this year. I am worse off this year because my Christmas shopping is way behind. Usually, I start in August, yes August. There are so many to buy for and I like to pick up things as I see them. Yesterday, I told you I was a fabric-aholic and hord fabric, well, I stockpile gifts too. It just makes it easier to shop this way instead of leaving it all to the last minute and try and figure out what everyone wants. More enjoyable too. So yes, I am going a little crazy. I don't know how all you mom-preneurs do-it-all! I can so relate to Heather and Anna Maria's problem with laundry. It never-goes-away. Then there is dinner. I get so sick of dinner. I never know what to make and it's gotta be fast, yet healthy. Who has time to slave over the stove all day? What about keeping the house clean? That is a never ending problem. I clean up. I turn around. It's a mess again. Oh and after school extra-circulum. But I digress, this is what I wanted. To start a business, to make it grow and become successful, be at home to watch my children grow and everything that comes with that. It's just sometimes it gets a little to harry and I wonder what the heck I got myself into? Knowing me I probably wouldn't want it any other way.

Since Autum's post yesterday, I have had an explosion of visitors. Thanks for stopping by, but next time say hi.

Oh, please don't remind me how close it is to Christmas. Wasn't it just summer?

Hi!

I've only started blogging this year too and it's highly addictive, isn't it?

Your apron IS lovely and I can totally relate to what you're saying... I'm adding a house move into all that.
