I am so disappointed, I can't even begin to tell you....well, yes I can. I had my big Holiday Gift Show yesterday and what a let down that was. No one showed up! After all the hype and figuring it wouldn't be a bad show, even if I didn't sell much there would be lots of people to talk to and spread the word of my business. IT-WAS-TERRIBLE. Considering a large company was putting it on and it was the largest one I got involved with so far. It was sooo bad. The only people that showed up were friends of the vendors. I was there the whole day. Had to get up really early. I busted my butt to get everything ready all week and what happened ...NOTHING! I sold two blankets, big deal. Not even enough to pay the rental. I was so dissappointed. Can you tell?! I didn't even stay to the end. I started packing up early, which started a snowball effect, because once I started, so did all the other vendors. They put a packet together and gave it to all the vendor. One of the sheets was a questionnaire as to how they did. You can count on me for filling it out and I also plan on asking for my rental back, it was that bad. Sorry no pictures of my booth. I had the camera all ready to go, but ended up forgetting it on the table as I walked out the door.
I have another 2 day show this coming weekend. I did it last year and it wasn't bad. The organizer is really great and works really hard to get a good show together. So I am hoping that I do better this year, even if I only cover my rental and the rental above, I will be happy. Since I didn't sell much this weekend, I have alot of stock, but as you know, I have to have more. I will be working on more skirts and these jackets. These jackets are a real attention grabber. Everybody LOVES them! They are even softer than the minky dot chenille.

That coat is beautiful! I feel your pain over your show. I had my big show last week. Although I sold some stuff and came home with some money, I figured I made about 10 cents and hour for all the work I did. I should have glued dollar store flowers to straw hat...I would have made a fortune.
Oh well, hang in there. You've got some great items.
that jacket is fabulous!!!!! i can't tell if it is adult or child-sized...
That so totally sucks. I'm sorry. I hope you sell out by noon this weekend. And I can see WHY those jackets are attention getters. Wow!
I love that jacket!!
I'm sorry the show was such a disappointment, I'm sending good vibes your way for a sell out this weekend!
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that the show was such a disappointment. I hope the one this weekend does well.
That jacket is so cute! Love it!
Is there a pattern for this jacket? I saw this material tonight and almost bought some but didn't. Now I am kicking myself! :)
