I haven't been moving in high gear this week, I barely got done one bag and it isn't even the bag I wanted to make. This bag was suppose to be the third bag of the collection of diaper bags I have been making and putting together, however it didn't turn out quite like I wanted. First off, it is way too big. In fact, it is bigger than the medium one I made earlier. I just wanted this one to be a simple diaper bag that would hold a couple of diapers, some wipes and a bottle. A quick little bag to run out the door with if you needed to run to the store or have coffee in the morning at a friends house. Oh well, back to the drawing board. Even though the bag didn't turn out the way I intended it still turned out to be a great tote bag. I appliqued a butterfly on the front. Did the handles a little differently than I usually do, made it a ribbon tie closure and on top of all that, if you want, it can be a reversible purse. Two purses for the price of one! How great is that?! When I started off my intentions were to make a black bag with red lining, but since this red is so fabulous, who wants to hide it. I am just loving this red fabric and especially with the black. The pictures do not do it justice.

Trial and Error
Alot of that has been going on lately. Although I like to experiment and try new things, it is really slowing down the productivity of what I really want to get accomplished.
